Full Day Picnic Ride
Don’t let the name scare you. We won’t make you sit in the saddle all day long. I can’t think of to many people that would voluntarily ride a horse all day long. Riding is an exercise and it does make you sore so riding all day just isn’t that enjoyable. Trust me I have done it. This ride takes on more of a leisurely pace. Your day begins the same as any of our other rides, with a short 4x4 ride to the ranch. Then grab a lunch and some snacks. Next get acquainted with a horse and after some instruction head out on a grand adventure. We ride for a bit then stop and take some pictures, readjust equipment, stretch you legs, and relax. After the break we turn our horses uphill and ride to the top of Cimarron Ridge. From there you can see forever. Once on top of the ridge we rest and chow down the lunch you packed. After the picnic we mount up and then we meander back to the corrals. This ride is very enjoyable and has the best scenery by far.
Rate: $105 per Adult & $90 for children 8 to 14 yrs. *With an accompanying adult.
