Colorado Elk Hunting at its Finest
Yes it is true Colorado has more elk than any other state. But at Action Adventures that is not our bragging point. We believe that quality is
far better then quantity. That is exactly what we have. Our hunting areas are remote and low pressure with a great bull to cow ratios. We limit the number of clients we take each year. Also four point antler restrictions have been in place for 20 plus years. This has allowed bulls to grow older and smarter. All of these factors come together to give you an opportunity to bag a mature bull.
We have several packages for you to choose from to come hunt elk in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. If you are looking for a real adventure a Wilderness Pack-in Hunt is for you. Hunt in the rut with your Bow or come later with your Rifle. If you are a do-it-yourself type a Wilderness Drop Camp would be a perfect match. Wilderness hunts are quite amazing but they are also quite tough. Our Private Land Hunts offer exceptional hunting and are less physically demanding than the wilderness. Go either Semi-Guided or Fully Guided. No matter which package you choose it is sure to be an adventure you won’t forget.
Wilderness Pack-in Elk Hunts
Wilderness Pack-in Elk Hunting is our specialty. We pack deep into the wilderness right into the heart of elk country. The hunting area consists of deep grassy valleys, stands of dark timber, high ridges, and parks of alpine tundra above timberline. These trips require a day of travel at the beginning and end of each trip for pack-in and pack-out. Even though our camps are extremely remote they are well outfitted. As with any of our hunting packages nothing is spared to ensure you complete satisfaction.
