Hunt Colorado’s Elk and Mule Deer on The Quarter Circle HM Ranch. This productive ranch sits secluded behind locked gates at 9,500 ft. Above the ranch 
is a large tract of Uncompahgre National Forest that can only be accessed thorough private land. Below the ranch is a remote parcel of Colorado State Wildlife area. This gives you a vast and diverse topography to hunt. Pursue a large resident herd of elk through sage-brush and juniper rolling hillsides, stands of dark timber, alpine meadows, with large groves of aspen trees in-between. Our ranch has produced P&Y quality animals throughout the years, and every year the trophy potential seems to get better. Not only is the elk and mule deer hunting exceptional you may also encounter a lot of color phase black bears. If you tag out or are looking for something to keep you busy on a slow afternoon, there is also a private lake full of rainbow and brook trout.

All archery hunts on the ranch are Semi-guided. These semi-guided hunts are some of the best values in western big game hunting today. You get freedom of a drop camp without the hassles of cooking and camp chores. You are provided with lodging, two home cooked meals a one sack lunch per day, riding horses, tree stands, and a guide in camp to offer advice and show you around the ranch. With everything in camp taken care of you can concentrate or harvesting game.

We do offer guided hunts the last two rifle seasons. These two weeks boast the highest success rates of any of our hunts. That is also 
why they book several years in advance. This time of year the weather has turned cold. Cold weather gets the elk moving and the mule deer get close to their rut. Not only are the animals really active but you have the expert knowledge of a guide to assist you. Our guides are trained on our ranch and know the country well. We oftentimes know where the game is and how they will react to any given situation. As with all of guided hunt there is 2 hunters per guide and we will do anything to ensure your absolute satisfaction.
